Generic CSV Import

Import transactions from a CSV file.

Example Use Cases​

  • Import transactions from a CSV, TSV, or SSV export using a custom rules file
  • Reuse the same rules file and smart rule groups for recurring imports of the same format

Settings​

  • File Format - Chooses whether the file uses tab (tsv), comma (csv), or semicolon (ssv) as the field separator.
  • Hledger rules file - The hledger CSV rules file that describes how to turn the file into transactions.
  • Smart rule groups - Default smart rule groups to apply when importing.

Inputs​

  • File - The CSV, TSV, or SSV file to import.
  • Smart rule groups - Smart rule groups to apply to this import.
